John Grosso is a seasoned leader in the document imaging and digital preservation industry, currently serving as the General Manager of IDI’s Connecticut Conversion Center. With an extensive background in business development and high-tech operations, John plays a pivotal role in expanding IDI’s reach across the Northeast and managing complex, large-scale conversion projects.
John’s expertise lies at the intersection of traditional archival preservation and modern digital efficiency. He is a primary advocate for eBeam technology—a specialized process developed by his family that allows for the high-resolution conversion of digital images back onto microfilm. This “digital-to-analog” bridge is critical for clients in government and academia who require the 500-year life expectancy of microfilm for their most vital digital records.
