Sondra Phifer joined IDI in August 2025 as a Senior Administrator and DigiStore Product Manager. In addition to overseeing the development and administration of DigiStore, she manages accounts receivable, and sales team administration.

Bringing more than 20 years of administrative and higher education experience, Sondra has worked extensively with faculty, librarians, and staff across multiple roles at Columbia University/Barnard College and New York University (NYU). Her experience includes faculty support, graduate admissions operations, and teaching as an adjunct instructor of art history at NYU.

Sondra holds two master’s degrees: a Master’s in Learning Experience and Technology Design from NYU Steinhardt, with a focus on higher education, and a Master’s in Art History from Brooklyn College.

Passionate about research, education, and the preservation of archival materials, Sondra brings a unique combination of academic expertise, technology experience, and administrative leadership to IDI’s mission of preserving and providing access to information for future generations.
