April 2022
Spring is finally here, and we are praying for a new beginning, starting with a peaceful settlement in Ukraine and the continued slow-down of the Coronavirus. IDI has kicked off the Spring with a very successful Public Library Association show in Portland, Oregon. (Photo Above) We want to thank all the attendees that stopped by to discuss their imaging plans and to pick up an IDI souvenir.
On March 16 IDI’s Director of Sales Jordan Baron was the featured speaker for a NJ ARMA virtual chapter meeting, discussing the ever-changing world of digitization and technology in navigating the Covid-19 Pandemic. The meeting was informative well attended and well received.
In March IDI set up on site in New England to digitize two very special collections one at a historical society in Massachusetts and the other at a museum in Connecticut. We also picked up and started the digitization of a high-profile Comic Book Collection and a collection of Asian census books.
In early April we will be completing the digitization of 2,000 film reels from 8mm, 16mm and 35mm videos for a major communication company. We also will be starting a project with over 6,500 VHS and Beta videos.
IDI will be exhibiting at the upcoming NJLA and ALA Conferences. IDI is also the Platinum sponsor for the ARMA INFORM NJ Conference. Please see links below:
IDI is constantly working to deliver innovative ideas to our customers. We recently partnered with Recollect (

Recollect is installed in public, research, university, and state libraries to provide easy discovery and access to of all types of digital collections including, local history, special collections, and archives. This exciting product provides a single location to access all content types, while providing a highly flexible metadata schema that makes searching fast and easy.
