Innovative Action: Big Doings in Pharma

With the many archive and library projects that we’ve reported on recently and the success of Digital Memory Media, our personal imaging service, we’ve neglected one of our most important work areas – Pharmaceuticals. For over a decade, Innovative Digital Imaging has been a leading provider of digital imaging and document preservation to the pharmaceutical industry. Whether it is scanning and preservation of lab notebooks and drug applications or records management consulting; experience, expertise and state-of-theart technology let IDI deliver secure, affordable, user-friendly imaging to the pharmaceutical industry both on-site and off. We meet the highest pharmaceutical industry standards for preservation and security.

Here’s some of our recent pharmaceutical sector work:

  • 250,000-image conversion of research lab notebooks on site in India
  • 650,000-image conversion of tech manuals on site in Virginia
  • 15 million electronic Images of research information converted to microfilm
  • 1 million-image conversion of Good Manufacturing Practicesrecords
  • Scanning of 3,000 lab notebooks over a 5-week period at our East Brunswick Facility

IDI uses Kirtas robotic scanners (pictured) for many of it’s on-site book conversion projects. We have installed Kirtas scanners in Italy, China, throughout California, and in Cambridge Massachusetts.
