Innovative News

Happy Easter and Passover to everyone from IDI and DMM. We hope everyone is enjoyed their holiday weekend.

IDI recently contracted with Lyndhurst public library to digitize 76 rolls of microfilm of the towns local history on newspapers. Lyndhurst library has also opted for the extremely useful Digi-Find-It Portal Website to keyword search the newspapers going back almost 100 years. IDI is excited to bring Lyndhurst public library aboard the popular Digi-Find-It Portal.

IDI is also doing an ongoing digitization project both on site and off site for a major pharmaceutical company. We are currently in the process of scanning over 300,000 pages in binders and digitizing about 1,500 rolls of microfilm.

The American Bible Society has come to Innovative Document Imaging for a major scanning project due to their upcoming move of locations. IDI is currently scanning nearly half a million pages of information for the American Bible Society. We are scanning in our facility in East Brunswick as well as in New York City, Philadelphia, PA and Valley Forge, PA.

Innovative Document Imaging and Digital Memory Media are proud to announce that we will once again have a booth at the upcoming New Jersey Library Association Conference later this month. The 2015 NJLA Conference will be held on April 20-22 at the Jersey Shore’s Ocean Place Resort & Spa in Long Branch. Please come stop by and visit us as we will be giving out flyers of information for our digitization services, library fundraisers, our Digi-FindIt Web Portals and so much more. We look forward to seeing you there!

On March 28 from 12:00pm-2:00pm the Lake Hopatcong Historical Society kicked off the 2015 Digital Memory Media Fundraising Events. It was a great success for everyone involved. DMM is currently in the process of digitizing the local patrons memories including many forms of media including: slides, VHS and BetaMax tapes, and film reels just to list a few.

These sessions continue to grow in popularity and we enjoy attending and giving back 20% of the proceeds to the hosting organizations. Lake Hopatcong Historcial Society will be receiving a check in the coming weeks for well over $500 just for giving DMM a few hours on a Saturday to come in and meet with local patrons to discuss digitizing their personal memories.
